All-County Selections for Anne Arundel County Boys/Girls Lacrosse

Anne Arundel County Public Schools recently came out with its All-County selections for both boys and girls lacrosse! Both groups were selected by the coaches of AACPS.

Congratulations to all athletes who got selected!

Boys Lacrosse

Four schools were represented in the All-County first team: Severna Park, Broadneck, Annapolis and Chesapeake.

Severna Park, which won 2016 MPSSAA 4A/3A state title and finished with a 17-2 overall record, got four selections to the first team. The attacking duo of Trevor Patschorke and Steven Zichelli both made the team, while defender Cullen Joyce also got picked. Midfielder Ethan Carr was the other Falcon to get selected.

Broadneck also got four players picked to the All-County first team. Attacker Taylor Bohanon and midfielder Riley McNulty both got tipped for the first team, as did goalie Cole Pellicano. Face-off specialist Tyler Martin rounded out the Broadneck contingent.

Just like Severna Park and Broadneck, Annapolis placed four of its own on the first team. Davis Hitt represented the Panthers in attack, while Camden Stramanak did the same in defense. Midfielder Jordan Kopf made the team, as did defensive specialist Christian Purcell.

Chesapeake had a trio of player make the first team. Two of those players were midfielders: Michael Altmann and Ryan Kennedy. Defender Chase Kipke also got picked to the team.

Girls Lacrosse

Six teams had players picked the All-County first team, with Severna Park getting the most selected with five. The Falcons had a duo of attackers chosen in Sarah Elms and Lillian Ross. Severna Park also had two midfielders get picked: Eva Klaus and Laura Milliker. Defender Rachel Spilker rounded out the Falcons' contingent.

Broadneck saw four players get picked, with three of them being midfielders. Making up the midfield trio was Brianna Harris, Kayla Harris and Taylor Sullivan. Defender Kylie Brassard joined the midfielders in representing the Bruins on the first team.

South River was the other team to get at least three representatives on the first team. Attacker Caitlin Blanche was joined on the first team by defenders Emma Schwartz and Madeline Szanyi.

Southern placed two players on the first team: attacker Sydney Davis and midfielder Molly Barkman. Arundel's midfielder Jenna Partilla made the first team, as did Chesapeake's goalie Eryn Beal.
