Gehrdes resigns as Annapolis girls lax coach

Dave Gehrdes has resigned as the girls lacrosse coach at Annapolis High School after 23 seasons and three state titles. Gehrdes will remain as the Panthers' athletic director. He has named Traci (Phipps) Nelson, who played for Annapolis from 2000-2003 and has been a volunteer assistant with the team, as his successor.
