Sports Teams a Big Part of Bel Air's Bicentennial Celebration

Bel Air High School is celebrating its 200 years of existence with a series of events scheduled to take place throughout the year! The Bobcats' first celebration is set for the second weekend in October, the 7th and the 8th.

The 7th is set to be a triple header of JV action, including the boys and girls soccer teams, as well as the football team.

The 8th has five games scheduled starting with the lone JV contest of the day, field hockey, at 10 AM, and going throughout the day. The games include both boys and girls volleyball facing John Carroll, boys soccer squaring off with Fallston and field hockey taking on North Harford. Girls soccer faces Patterson Mill in a match up featuring two state finalists from 2015. Football caps off the day with a night game against C. Milton Wright.

The weekend promises to be an exciting celebration of Bel Air reaching this historic milestone!

If you have a question about the event, contact Bel Air's athletic director Tony Blackburn at anthony.blackburn@hcpss.org.
