MPSSAA Fall Sports Begin Today!

Whenever a new sports season starts, I am always reminded of this famous Joe Dimaggio quote: "You always get a special kick on opening day, no matter how many you go through. You look forward to it like a birthday party when you're a kid. You think something wonderful is going to happen."

I can't help but have that exact same feeling right now.

Today is opening day for every fall sport in the MPSSAA, except for golf which starts a couple weeks earlier. The weeks of just tryouts, practicing, two-a-days and scrimmages are finally over- it's finally time for the regular season!

This season is going to supply student-athletes with fantastic memories and lessons that will only help them grow as people. WICKipedia can't wait to report on the many different beautiful stories that will be born over the next few months.
