Female athletic participation

There was an excellent article written by Jonathan Pitts for the Baltimore Sun about how high school female athletics has progressed since Title IX was introduced in the 1970s. To read the article, click here.

We at County Sports Zone have always been strong supporters of high school athletics. That's one of the core values that we were founded on -- every score is important to us, regardless of gender, level of play or sport. If it is an interscholastic high school contest, we want the score. We could not be more excited by the growing number of athletes who are partaking in after-school athletics, and the wide array of sports they are choosing to play.
