South River Golf Wins Match at Crofton Country Club
South River's golf team won in Anne Arundel County A Conference play yesterday. The Seahawks as a team shot 160, beating second play Broadneck who finished with 169. Severna Park shot 172 and Arundel finished with 181 to round out the field.
The top individual scorer was Cameron McCartney of Broadneck, who shot a 35. South River was led by Joe Gaulin, who shot a 36. Nick Salamy, also of South River, rounded out the top three with a 38.
The top girls shooter was Lauren Appel of Severna Park who finished with 46. Grace Appel, also of Severna Park, shot a 54 while Samantha Lynchard of Broadneck finished with 57.
