Tiffany Byrd Named Coordinator of Interscholastic Athletics in Baltimore City
Tiffany Byrd has been named the Coordinator of Interscholastic Athletics in Baltimore City, taking over for Bob Wade and Jessica Ivey. Both Wade and Ivey were laid off earlier in the summer by Baltimore City Public Schools, along with over 150 other employees.
Wade is a legendary coach in the Baltimore area, having coached basketball at both Dunbar High School and University of Maryland. He had held the Coordinator of Interscholastic Athletics position for 19 years.
Byrd is a former athletic director at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. She started her new job this past Wednesday.
All of us at County Sports Zone would like to thank Bob Wade and Jessica Ivey for all the great work they have done for athletics in Baltimore City! CSZ would also like to congratulate Tiffany Byrd on her new position! We look forward to working with her.
