Free Camp for Volleyball Coaches at University of Maryland
This year, in addition to the University of Maryland's volleyball camp for athletes, a free one-day camp will also be offered for coaches. The camp will be held on Saturday July 16 from 12:30-3 at the Xfinity Center, and will be hosted by the UMD volleyball coaching staff.
After a catered lunch, there will be a classroom session for an hour where coaches will talk about how to prepare their teams for the upcoming season, preseason ideas and how to plan practice for the season.
From 2-3, the coaches will be on the court at UMD, where there will be a live demo of various drills and training concepts. Much of UMD's team will be at the practice for the walk through, as well as future recruits of UMD, who will be there for the program's elite camp.
Coaches will also be able to stay after the allotted time to watch training and the future recruits camp.
