All-Conference Selections for Carroll County Athletic League Boys/Girls Lacrosse
Carroll County Public Schools recently came out with their All-Conference selections for both boys and girls lacrosse! Both groups were selected by the coaches of CCPS, and are the first spring All-Conference selections in the history of the Carroll County Athletic League.
Congratulations to all athletes on getting selected!
Girls Lacrosse
Five different schools were represented in the first team, with Manchester Valley leading the way with five players. The county champions had a banner season, finishing the year 19-1 and beating Fallston 22-3 in the MPSSAA 2A/1A state title game to win their third straight state championship.
Making up the group selected to first team all-conference is Lizzie Colson (attack), Beanie Colson (midfield), Rayna Deltuva (midfield), Sami Chenowith (defense) and Kate Brewster (goalie).
Century, the team Manchester Valley beat in the county championship game, landed three representatives on the first team. The Knights' contingent is comprised of Caroline Glenn (defense), Hannah Warther (midfield) and Kylie Davis (midfield).
North Carroll's Tayler Warehime (attack) and Elizabeth Hillman (midfield) both made the first team. Winters Mill also placed two on the first team: Meghan Crouse (midfield) and Coeli Love (attack).
South Carroll's Keriann McTavish rounded out the first team.

Boys Lacrosse
Seven schools were represented in the first team, with county champion and 2A/1A state finalist Liberty nabbing the most nominations with five. The Lions were undefeated for the entire season until the 2A/1A state championship, where they lost to Fallston 12-5.
Liberty's group on the first team includes Jared Cirulli (attack), Jack Boyer (attack), Jack Myers (long stick midfielder), Nick Griffin (defense) and Jason Stead (FOGO).
Westminster and Century both saw four players get picked from their teams. Westminster's contingent is made up of Rhett Jamison (attack), Blake Ruby (attack), Noah Park (midfield) and David Welsh (defense). Century's group has Andrew Fleishell (midfield), Pat Hunter (defense), Chris Yonchoris (goalie) and Zach Keepers (FOGO) in it.
North Carroll (Connor Waskiewicz, attack), South Carroll (Kyle Dizon, midfield), Francis Scott Key (Luke Vander Meulen, midfield) and Winters Mill (Gray Bowden, defense) made up the rest of the first team.
