Aaron Velky Hired as New Dulaney Girls Soccer Head Coach
Aaron Velky has been announced as the new girls soccer coach at Dulaney High School.
Velky has been around the sport of soccer for a long time. He played at High Point High School in Prince George's County before playing at the collegiate level for University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC). He currently coaches multiple teams at the Pipeline Soccer Club, which is based out of Lutherville-Timonium.
Velky inherits the program from Kristi Korrow, who coached Dulaney's girls lacrosse team to the 4A/3A state championship this past May.
On the girls soccer field, Dulaney went 7-5-1 in 2015, registering wins against Baltimore County rivals Catonsville and Towson, as well as a draw with Anne Arundel County powerhouse South River. Dulaney's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Perry Hall in the second round of the MPSSAA 4A state playoffs.
