Parkville's Knightmare Tournament Results
Parkville hosted their annual wrestling tournament, called The Knightmare Invitational, this past weekend. 18 different schools attended the event, including a few private schools and Langley High School from Virginia. Full results from the tournament are at the bottom of this post.
Springbrook finished first in the team competition, winning the tournament with a team score of 214. MIAA private school Loyola placed second with a score of 171.50.
The Blue Devils were led by Jesse Turcios, who placed first in the 285 pound division. Springbrook also had Letrell Harris (120) and Nick Kilby (126) each finish second in their weight classes, while Christian Balmoris (106) and Aaron Robertson (17) got third.
Richard Montgomery finished with a point total of 146. The Rockets had two wrestlers win their divisions: Marcello Molina (120) and Luis Orellana (132).
Other wrestlers from CSZ's jurisdictions to win their weights classes included Robert Doetsch (Dundalk, 152), Tyleigh Horton (Eastern Tech, 195) and Ravil Aliyev (Pikesville, 220).
The hosts finished with 79 points, and were led by a trio of competitors who placed third in their weight class: Tylor Knight (152), Alijah Collins (182) and Isaiah Downes (285).
