Kennedy Field Hockey Preview
The Kennedy field hockey team is looking to cut down on their mistakes this upcoming season. The Cavaliers are coming off a 2-10 season in 2014, with the two victories coming against Northwood and Seneca Valley. This year, the team is hoping to become a mistake-free unit.
"If we lose the other team must beat us. We cannot beat ourselves," head coach Amanda Twele said.
Kennedy has highlighted their big opponents this year as Northwood and Seneca Valley, along with Watkins Mill and Wheaton.
With it being the preseason, Kennedy is still in the process of filling out the rosters for their JV and varsity teams. Players should have plenty of opportunities to prove themselves in games this season- the Cavaliers graduated a lot of their players from last year's varsity, meaning younger players will get a chance to step up.
